Final Fantasy XIV players are eagerly awaiting the upcoming Patch 6.5, known as 'Growing Light.' Expected to be released in early October 2023, the update will bring new quests, a dungeon, a trial, and plenty of additional content, setting the stage for the next major expansion.

Final Fantasy XIV aims to keep its community engaged and informed about upcoming releases. Following 'Growing Light,' Patch 6.55 is set to be released in mid-January 2024, featuring additional story quests and updates.

This includes the new MSQ: Growing Light Part 1, a new dungeon called The Lunar Subterrane, and a new trial called The Abyssal Fracture.
